The Canon EOS T Ring allows you to connect your Canon Digital SLR Camera to a telescope when coupled with the appropriate T adaptor, usually a simple 1.25" or 2" T adaptor is required although some telescopes require specific adaptors.
This accessory is required if you want to do any type of photography through a telescope or spotting scope.
The T ring simply attaches to the camera body in place of the camera lens allowing the telescope to become the camera lens.
This method of astro imaging is known as prime focus imaging and will provide stunning images of the night sky. You can also place a Barlow lens before the T adaptor to increase the magnification, ideal for Lunar or Planetary imaging.
Both a T-Adapter and T-Ring are required to mount a 35mm SLR camera to your instrument.
A T-Adapter allows you to attach your 35mm SLR camera to the prime focus of your telescope or spotting scope. This arrangement is used for terrestrial photography and short exposure lunar and planetary photography. It can also be used for long exposure deep-sky photography when using a separate guidescope.
Both a T-Adapter and T-Ring are required to mount a 35mm SLR camera to your instrument.
This universal 1.25" T Adaptor is designed to allow you to attach your Digital SLR Camera to any telescope with a standard 1.25" focuser. The machined aluminium adaptor requires the apporopriate T ring for your make of camera to securely attach the camera to your telescope's focuser.
The telescope then becomes the camera lens allowing you to image the night sky. Placing a Barlow lens before the T adaptor will increase the magnification, ideal or Lunar and Planetary imaging.
The adaptor is threaded for standard 1.25" filters, this can be especially useful if you are in a light polluted site where a light pollution filter can be added.
T Adaptor 2"
A 2" T Adaptor is designed to allow you to attach your Digital SLR Camera to a telescope with a standard 2" focuser. The machined aluminium adaptor requires the appropriate T ring for your make of camera to securely attach the camera to your telescope's focuser.
The telescope then becomes the camera lens allowing you to image the night sky. Placing a Barlow lens before the T adaptor will increase the magnification, ideal or Lunar and Planetary imaging.
The adaptor is threaded for standard 2" filters, this can be especially useful if you are in a light polluted site where a light pollution filter can be added.
