Celestron Luminos Eyepieces

This brand new range of Celestron Luminos eyepieces have an ultra wide 82 degree field of view for advanced observation with both low and high magnification.

These eyepieces come with some really great high end features including retractable eyecups for eyeglass wearers, parfocal design (no refocusing between other Luminos eyepieces) and a polished hard anodized aluminum barrel for durability and high end appearance.

Every eyepiece is fully multicoated and computer optimized for outstanding correction of chromatic and spherical aberration and astigmatism. Additionally the lens edges are blackened for high contrast.

The rubber gripping ring provides for secure handling and smooth control of the eyecup. The 7mm, 10mm and 15mm have threaded barrels which accept 1.25" Celestron thread-in filters, whilst the 19mm and 23mm accept 2"filters.

This new advanced range of eyepieces are an excellent addition for any high quality telescope and I am sure will be favored by many amateur astronomers.

The Celestron Luminos 7mm eyepiece is an excellent short focal length ultra wide field eyepiece that uses seven optical elements for optimized performance.

Designed with minimal field curvature, this Celestron Luminos 10mm eyepiece is ideal for use with flat field telescopes such as refractors with field flatteners.

The rubber gripping ring of the Celestron 23mm Luminos eyepiece is great for open clusters, nebulas, and globular clusters with any telescope, and is extremely effective with fast f/ratio reflectors and refractors.
