Celestron Luminos 19mm EyepieceThe Celestron 19mm Luminos Eyepiece has an 2" ultra wide field and uses six optical elements for optimized performance over an exceptionally wide and flat 82° field of view (FOV).
Using a 10" f/4.5 Dobsonian reflector you will have a full 1.36° field at 60x magnification, which is big enough to hold all of the Pleiades in just a single field, whilst a 4" f/8 refractor will have a 1.91° field at 43x magnification, almost 4 times the diameter of the full Moon. This eyepiece is designed to have minimal field curvature, making it especially well suited for use with flat field telescopes such as the Celestron EdgeHD. A number of excellent top of the range features including retractable eyecups for eyeglass wearers, parfocal design, and a polished hard anodized aluminum barrel for robustness and high end visual appeal. Each and every eyepiece is fully multicoated and computer optimized for superb correction of chromatic and spherical aberration and astigmatism. Additionally the lens edges are blackened for high contrast. The rubber gripping ring provides for secure handling and smooth control of the eyecup.
